2018 Autism Conference: Addressing Mental Health through Research, Intervention, and Family Resiliency

The Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders is hosting its 2nd annual Autism Conference to inform and provide support for caregivers and professionals working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, including educators, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, medical professionals, applied behavior analysts, employment specialists, vocational rehabilitation counselors, service coordinators, and advocates.   The conference aims to provide an atmosphere of hope and upholds a commitment to sharing comprehensive, up-to-date coverage of assessment and intervention strategies supported by research. 

Our keynote speaker is Dr. Shafali Spurling Jeste, a Behavioral Child Neurologist specializing in autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders. She is an Associate Professor in Psychiatry and Neurology in the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, and a lead investigator within UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment (CART). Her research is focused on the use of novel electrophysiological biomarkers to better define early predictors of ASD.
