The Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders is hosting it first Autism Conference to educate and provide support for professionals and caretakers who work with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, including educators, psychologists, speech/language pathologists, medical professionals, applied behavior analysts, employment specialists, vocational rehabilitation counselors, service coordinators, and advocates.
The conference aims to provide an atmosphere of hope and upholds a commitment to sharing comprehensive, up-to-date coverage of assessment and intervention strategies supported by research.
Our keynote speaker is Dr. Catherine Lord, a licensed clinical psychologist with specialties in diagnosis, social and communication development and intervention in autism spectrum disorders (ASD). She is world- renowned for her work in longitudinal studies of children with autism as well as for her role in developing the autism diagnostic instruments used in both practices and in research worldwide today. Dr. Lord will be presenting on Measuring Change in Autism Spectrum Disorders.
