Autism Education Series

Autism Education series is an innovative five-week educational series designed primarily for parents of young children who are newly diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.

Topics covered in this series include:
  • What is Autism?
  • Regional Center and Special Education programs
  • The A, B, C’s of Behavior
  • Speech a Language Interventions
  • Autism and Family Dynamics Special Guest speakers
  • Your Questions

Tuition is $70 per family for all six sessions or $15 weekly.

You may send payment (check or money order) in advance or pay at the first session. Checks made payable to UC Regents.

 

Monthly Support Group

Our center offers a support group to parents and caregivers of children with autism spectrum disorders and related disabilities. Please join us!

The support group focuses on parent and caregiver experiences, successes, challenges, and family impact. We encourage families to attend the Autism Education Series or similar parent educational programs before attending this group. Everyone is welcome.
